How we got here

Secfix was founded in Berlin in 2021 by Fabiola, Grigory and Branko after they saw small and medium-sized businesses struggling to achieve ISO 27001 and TISAX certification. Within just a year, Secfix secured $3.8 million Seed funding and guided their clients through the certification process with a 100% success rate in audits. Today, Secfix helps all businesses across Europe to achieve and maintain compliance.

In the beginning, there was requestee

Fabiola and Grigory were working on their startup requestee in 2020, a marketplace for ethical hackers, when they realized there is a much bigger problem arising for small and medium-sized businesses around the World. The usual methods for preparing for an ISO 27001 or TISAX compliance audit are time-consuming, cost-intensive and error-prone.

The evolution of requestee to Secfix

The founders took upon themselves to simplify the lives of small and medium-sized businesses by enabling them to become secure and compliant in weeks rather than months. For that, they brought Branko, Co-Founder & CISO, who had over 12 years of experience in implementing security standards for small companies.

Secfix raised $3.8 million in Seed funding in an oversubscribed round. The investment was led by Octopus Ventures with participation from Neosfer, which belongs to Commerzbank, and the founders of SAP Signavio and Fastgen (YC W23), as well as existing investors and serial entrepreneurs. The round comes just a year after they started with their security compliance and automation platform.
